Run for Education – Newa Charity Fund

Every year in the third week of February, there is a 10 km run organized by Dharan Run Team. This run is dedicated to education and health. Newa Education Charity has been established especially from the money collected every year from the “Dharan 10K Run – Newa Charity” event.

We would like to inform you that scholarships are being provided to poor students from various community schools of Dharan from the interest from the Fund for participation in study, dress, books and running programs every year.

Remember, the Newa Charity Fund under the Dharan Run team, named after Newa Rai, the eldest daughter of Santosh Rai, the founder of the Dharan Run Team, has been providing health treatment, disabled friendly support and scholarship programs to various patients in the past. in order to continue the campaign and scholarship of this charity fund, the Dharan Run team sincerely requests all the runners, well-wishers, sponsors & foreign helpers to successfully complete the “Dharan 10 K Run – 13th Newa Charity 2025” run on 22th February, 2025.

Dharan 10 K Run – 13th Newa Charity 2025

All participants should abide by the following rules.

1. Registration is open from 2081 Shrawan 17 (August 01, 2024) and closes on 2081 Magh 18 (January 31, 2025). No entry shall be entertained after the closing date.
2. Registration fee is as follows:
   a. For Under 12 category: NPR 400.00
   b. For other categories:
   NPR 500.00 – Regular Entry
   From 2081 Ashoj 15 to 2081 Magh 11 (October 01, 2024 to January 24, 2025)
   NPR 700.00 – Late Entry
   From 2081 Magh 12 to 2081 Magh 18 (January 25, 2025 to January 31, 2025)
   c. For Indian Citizens only: INR 400/- (all categories, flat fee)
3. Participants must upload copies of authentic legal document (e.g. birth certificate, citizenship certificate) to verify their age.
4. In case of any disputes, the decision of the organizer will be final.
